Monday: Today we played a review game covering some of the major concepts we have learned so far this year. Tuesday: Close Reading Quiz Wednesday: Today we learned about dangling and misplaced modifiers and started working on our "Dangling Modifier" activity Thursday: Today we continued working with Dangling and Misplaced modifiers. We completed some worksheets. They are due tomorrow! Friday: Today we wrote a story about a misplaced modifier sentence.

Thursday: Today we talked about the Civil Rights Movement and Martin Luther King Jr. Next week we will be reading his "I Have a Dream" speech. Friday: Rise and Stretch January 6: Today we talked about how to create a good argument. We worked on the paper, "Zombies Make Good Parents," and we got a homework assignment to write a letter to your parents about something you want. It is due tomorrow. Don't forget! January 7: Today we talked about formal and informal citations and how to use them in a paper. January 8: Today we started working on our argument paper about bullying. We read two articles and extracted evidence from the articles to help us write the paper. January 9: Today we worked on the outline for our Bully Letter January 10: Today we finished our outline for the Bully Letter
