Chrome Book Information
Use in English:
We are very lucky to be one of the few teams at at Fort Herriman Middle School to pilot this ground-breaking program. There are many tools and opportunities to incorporate this technology into a Language Arts classroom. We will be using our Chromebooks every day for many different things. Following are only a few of the many ways we will be using our new Chromebooks during the upcoming year.
P104 Chromebook Pol icies and Procedures:
1.You have been assigned a chrome book number, don’t forget this number! It will be used for many things all year.
2.Get your chrome book the first thing when you come into the room
3. Always handle your Chromebook with two hands!
4.When Ms. Nielsen says “lids down” computers are closed
5.You are responsible if you intentionally harm the computer
6.Tell Ms. Nielsen IMMEDIATELY if something is wrong with your computer
7.Be gentle with our computers

- Large writing assignments using both MyAccess! and Googledocs
- Smaller daily writing assignment as starters
- Interactive boards to practice language, grammar, spelling, and many more things
- Online readers to read and discusses stories, articles, poetry, etc.
- Flash cards for test reviews
- Website and Apps to enhance the learning experience
