I love teaching, but it isn't what I have always wanted to do with my life. When I was in middle school and high school, I couldn't wait to get out of the public school system and not have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning anymore! However, once I started college, I realized my true passion for the teaching profession. I have always loved English and reading and I love having the opportunity to pass my passion of the subject onto my students.
I graduated from BYU and I am a true cougar fan. I am from a little town called Ephraim in central Utah. My dad farmed and my mom worked in the elementary school. I love where I am from, I am a country girl at heart. I have a big case of the wanderlust. I have been to many countries in Europe including; Spain, England, France, and Italy. I have also traveled to Australia, the Caribbean and many states in the U.S. I adore reading (which is helpful as an English teacher) and I am usually reading at least two books at the same time. I have piles of books scattered around my house, in my car, my classroom, and I usually have one floating around in my purse. On top of all that, I also love anything that involves being outdoors - blame my upbringing. I love to camp, hike, fish and go on four wheeler rides around the mountains. I am so excited to spend the next year getting to know you. I hope you enjoy this class as much as I will! Contact Information: email: [email protected] phone: (801) 412-2450 (ext.) |
